As a cultural hub and a place of learning, the library plays a vital role in promoting knowledge and fostering civility among its visitors. To maintain a harmonious and respectful environment, we, the undersigned members of the library community, hereby pledge to uphold the following guidelines:

1、Respect the silence and tranquility of the library. Keep noise to a minimum and refrain from using mobile phones or other electronic devices during study hours.

2、Be mindful of others around you. Avoid prolonged periods of reading or studying when others are trying to concentrate.

3、Properly dispose of trash and recycle materials. Avoid littering and ensure that recycling bins are properly filled and emptied.

4、Maintain orderly stacks and shelves. Do not disorganize books or leave them scattered around the library.

5、Use library resources responsibly. Borrow only books that you intend to read and return them on time. Do not overdue or steal books.

6、Be mindful of copyright issues. Do not scan, photocopy, or share copyrighted materials without permission or authorization.

7、Be courteous to library staff and fellow visitors. Thank them for their assistance and respect their time and efforts.

8、Avoid disruptive behaviors such as shouting, arguing, or using abusive language.

In conclusion, the library is a place of learning and growth, and it requires all of us to uphold certain standards of civility and courtesy. By following these guidelines, we can ensure that the library remains a welcoming and enriching environment for all.
